Trini Rum Punch

Make as much of this recipe as you please as it can remain in the refrigerator for a long time, or can be frozen if placed in plastic bottles.

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 cups sugar syrup
  • 3 cups Caribbean brown rum
  • 4 cups water
  • Angostura Bitters
  • Nutmeg

Directions

  1. Mix the lime juice, sugar syrup, rum and water.
  2. Add one grated nutmeg and four dashes of Angostura Bitters.
  3. Bottle and refrigerate.
  4. Serve over lots of ice, add a dash of Angostura Bitters and sprinkle with finely grated nutmeg.
