Lime Mint Iced Tea

summer/fall 2008

  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 4 tea bags, black or green tea
  • 1 3/4 cups fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup sugar or to taste
  • 1/4 cup lime/lemon juice

Direction

  1. Mix tea bags, mint and sugar in hot water, and let steep for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain out the tea bags and mint leaves.
  3. Chill and add lime/lemon juice before serving.

Serves 4
