Jerk Tofu

Summer/Fall 2006

  • 1/2 pound/225g. fresh tofu
  • Jerk marinade
  • Butter or vegetable oil


  1. Cut tofu into 1-inch squares.
  2. Place in a shallow dish and cover with jerk marinade. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours.
  3. Heat butter in pan and saute tofu until golden brown. OR, in a deep fryer, bring oil to 350 degrees F and deep fry until golden brown.

Serve with brown rice.
