Butter Rum Sauce
Issue 3, 2016
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Half and Half, evaporated milk or whipping cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- In medium saucepan, bring sugar, cream and butter to boil.
- Reduce heat, simmer uncovered, stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in rum.
- Serve warm over cake.
Makes 2 cups
